The Department of Education (DepEd) recognized the invaluable contributions of 173 partner organizations, including Kasilak Development Foundation, Inc. and Dole Philippines, Inc. (Stanfilco Division), to Philippine education. During the DepEd’s Partners Appreciation and Recognition event on February 20, 2024, both organizations were honored with a Plaque of Appreciation, personally presented by the Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte, for their significant support of the MATATAG Agenda.
Since 2000, Dole-Stanfilco, through its partnership with Kasilak, has implemented its Adopt-a-School Program, benefiting over a hundred schools in Mindanao. This program has included support for Brigada Eskwela and the construction of classroom buildings.
