Through the ProPEACE Programme, the Kasilak Development Foundation, Inc. successfully facilitated a two-day training on Peace and Good Governance for the Bangsamoro Youth Organization for Peace and Development (BYOPD) last May 18–19, 2025 at Herds Pine Resort, Polomolok, South Cotabato.
The activity aimed to build the leadership capacity of youth leaders in championing peace, development, and good governance within their communities, a values upheld by the ProPEACE Programme. The training combined leadership development, team-building exercises, and a strategic plan review to strengthen the unity, effectiveness, and vision of BYOPD.
A total of 39 BYOPD officers and members actively participated, guided by insightful sessions from Mr. John Mark Rufino, LYDO Designate of Tupi, who shared on Servant Leadership, and Mr. Nepjun Melsm Jihad Seromines, KDFI Area Coordinator, who facilitated the BYOPD Strategic Planning Workshop and Review.
