The Kasilak Development Foundation, Inc., through the ProPEACE Programme, in partnership with Mahintana Foundation, Inc., co-facilitated a 3-day Organizational Development and Management Training held on June 1–3, 2025 at Venue 88 Hotel and Convention Center, General Santos City.

The training aimed to educate and equip participants with foundational concepts and practical skills in organizational development and management, fostering their active and effective participation in community development.

The 3-day event featured a combination of lectures and workshops covering key topics such as:

-Community Organizing

-Community Development

-Understanding Organizational Development and Management

-Defining Vision, Mission, and Goals

-Roles of People’s Organizations in Participatory Community Development

-Organizational Assessment

-Basic Proposal Preparation

-Re-entry Planning

Participants included key officers from three Livelihood Beneficiary POs of Kasilak DFI under the ProPEACE Programme, supported by GCERF. These organizations were:

-Tupi Association of Youth Organizations (TAYO)

-Bangsamoro Women of South Cotabato Organization (BMW-SCOr)

-Empowered Persons with Disability Association of Banga (EPWA)

This collaborative initiative reflects a strong commitment to empowering grassroots organizations as key drivers of peacebuilding and sustainable development in their communities.
