Partner with Us

We are open to partnering with organizations, projects, brands and individuals that share our mission and goals of contributing to increased access and quality of education, good nutrition, and improved environmental conservation/protection and livelihood opportunities of marginalized communities.

Adopt-A-School Program (ASP)

This program provides packages of relevant learning materials to marginalized public schools to improve their learning environment/outcomes anchored on Republic Act 8525 or the “Adopt-a-School Act of 1998”. Learning materials include books (Math, Science, English), laboratory equipment, computer set, and e-media set. One cycle of adoption is 6 years to complete the elementary education from Grades 1 to 6. Following “graduation” or completion of the adoption program for a particular school, a new school will be selected as replacement. DepEd data showed that many public elementary schools in Mindanao are still in need of learning materials.

Support Community Products

We are open to collaborating with organizations and individuals on product development and promotion and other projects to help improve the livelihoods and income opportunities of marginalized communities, especially women and Indigenous Peoples. Some of our collaborators and collaborative projects include:

Bayong from Discarded Plastic Strips

Kasilak started the plastic recycling project in 2006, but it wasn’t until 2012 that the foundation sent it full blast under the Women Empowerment Access for Viable Enterprise (WEAVE) program.

Since 2012, women from our partner communities have been weaving their magic to create bayong (native baskets), mats, flower pots, hampers, and other products using discarded plastic strips from banana plantations. This initiative is not only good for the environment but also a good for the livelihood opportunities of partner communities (esp. women).
