All staff members of Kasilak, encompassing programs, operations, administration, and finance, took part in a three-day comprehensive and participatory training. This event was organized and conducted by ShelterBox Operations Philippines, Inc. (SBOP), focusing on ShelterBox’s Project Cycle Management and protocols for emergency response. The training occurred from July 17 to 19, 2024, at Hotel Esse, Davao City. Additionally, delegates from Cor Jesu College – Br. Polycarp iComDev Foundation Inc. and Sustainable Coconut Supply Chain Foundation Inc., were also present at the training.

Participants in the training acquired practical experience in ShelterBox’s comprehensive project cycle management through workshops that included needs assessment, logical framework development, budgeting, and proposal writing. This initiative by SBOP equips its local partners with the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver critical assistance during emergencies.
