December 6, 2024 was a day filled with purpose and collaboration. The Kasilak Development Foundation Inc., in partnership with the Dole Stanfilco, 38th Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army and Kiwanis International, spearheaded a community-building initiative at Benigno Aquino Elementary School, located in Sitio Benigno Aquino, Brgy. Miasong, Tupi, South Cotabato.
The event brought together teachers, learners, and other community members for a day of meaningful engagements centered on fostering peace and collaboration through the ProPEACE Programme supported by GCERF. This initiative underscored the power of partnerships in promoting peacebuilding and holistic community development.
As part of the activity, Kasilak and Dole Stanfilco extended support to the learners and the school by donating essential learning materials generously provided by Brothers Brother Foundation through Children International Philippines, Inc. Additionally, hand soaps from Clean the World were distributed to promote hygiene awareness among the children and the community.
The event also highlighted the shared commitment of all stakeholders to creating a better future for Sitio Benigno Aquino. Moments of learning, fun, and community spirit filled the day, leaving a lasting impact on everyone involved.
