16-17 July 2025, Kibawe and Lantapan, Bukidnon. As part of creating sustainable and inclusive value for the communities where Dole-Stanfilco and Kasilak operate, Dole-Stanfilco and Kasilak turnover livelihood assistance/support to the two (2) labor unions in Bukidnon, Dole Skyland Kibawe Midland United Workers Union (DSKMUWU) and Dole Skyland Lantapan Labor Union (DSLLU), to kickstart their respective livelihoods/business enterprises. The turnover ceremony was graced by the key personnel of the Human Relations/CSR/EE, Industrial Relations, Labor Relations and Plant/Agri Divisions of Dole-Stanfilco and the Area Coordinators (Marlon Siatan, Don Cuadrasal) and Executive Director (Jobe Tubigon) of Kasilak.

As proposed, DSKMUWU will operate a consumer store which will benefit its 100 union members and DSLLU for rice trading which will also benefit its 300 union members and potentially at least 1,000 Kaamulan members. The initial livelihood assistance will also have accompaniment support (training, technical assistance and mentoring) to be facilitated by Kasilak to help ensure sustainability of the enterprises. For the last five years, about seven (7) labor unions in Bukidnon have already received livelihood/enterprise support from Dole-Stanfilco and Kasilak, under the Koop Ayos Program, which they are now sustainably managing and helping increased the income opportunities of the unions and its members.
